On November 16, 2011, at the "Awarding Ceremony of the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratories" held in Shenzhen by the National Development and Reform Commission, the "National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Engine Core Components" declared by our company was officially approved for construction by the National Development and Reform Commission. This is another national-level scientific research platform approved for construction by our company. Meanwhile, it is also the first batch of national-level engineering laboratories jointly constructed by the state and local governments in Shandong Province. A total of six were approved in our province except for the two innovative cities of Qingdao and Yantai. It is also the first one in the domestic industry. 。

The "National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Engine Core Components" relies on the "Engineering Laboratory for Engine Piston Friction Pairs of Shandong Binzhou Bohai Piston Co., Ltd. in Shandong Province". Focusing on the problems in the development of the auto engine parts industry, such as poor innovation ability, weak basic research, high energy consumption of engines and failure to meet the emission standards, and in response to the urgent needs for the design, analysis, experiment and development technologies of engine piston friction pairs, it conducts research on the reliability life design and evaluation technology of the environmental protection, energy-saving and high-performance engine piston friction pairs, as well as on the numerical simulation analysis, product structure analysis and design, materials and other aspects of the key parts of low-emission and high-performance engines. It breaks through the key technologies in the product experiment, research and development and evaluation in China's engine piston friction pair industry, and provides solid technical support for the engine piston friction pair industry to develop high-performance, high-power, low-fuel-consumption and low-emission engine piston friction pair sets, so as to meet the requirements of enhancing the industrial innovation ability and promoting the regional economic development.

The National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory is a national and local joint innovation platform arranged by the National Development and Reform Commission in accordance with the strategic needs of economic and social development and the plan for the construction of the basic capacity for national independent innovation, aiming to guide all regions to strengthen the construction of industrial innovation platforms around the development of regional characteristic industries and leading industries, promote the formation of regional innovation systems with their own characteristics, facilitate the organic connection between national and local industrial innovation platforms, promote the rational layout of innovation platforms at different levels, enhance the basic innovation capacity of regional industries, and provide technical support for promoting industrial structure adjustment and cultivating strategic emerging industries.
